Marydel Azalea
Rhododendron 'Marydel' is a deciduous azalea that produces clusters of fragrant pink flowers in late spring to early summer. It grows to a height of 5-8 feet and has an upright, spreading habit with green foliage that turns reddish-purple in the fall. Marydel Azalea prefers moist, well-drained acidic soil and partial shade to full sun exposure. It is a great addition to mixed borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen plant. This hardy azalea variety is also attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators.
