Helmond Pillar Barberry
Helmond Pillar Barberry, also known as Berberis thunbergii 'Helmond Pillar', is a narrow and upright deciduous shrub with a columnar shape. It features green leaves that turn a beautiful red-orange color in the fall. This plant produces insignificant flowers in the spring, but its unique foliage and compact habit make it an attractive choice for garden borders or as a specimen plant. Helmond Pillar barberry can grow up to 5-6 feet tall and only 2 feet wide, making it an excellent choice for narrow spaces or smaller gardens. It is also drought-tolerant and relatively low-maintenance, making it an excellent addition to any landscape.
