Golden Showers Azalea
Golden Showers Azalea (Rhododendron 'Golden Showers') is a stunning evergreen shrub that produces masses of golden-yellow, trumpet-shaped blooms in mid to late spring. The flowers have a slight fragrance and are set against a backdrop of glossy, dark green leaves. Golden Showers Azalea grows to a height of 4-6 feet and has a dense, rounded habit, making it an excellent choice for hedges, borders, or mass plantings. It prefers acidic, well-drained soil and partial shade, but can tolerate full sun in cooler climates. This low-maintenance shrub is also resistant to deer and is sure to add a bright pop of color to any landscape.
