Golden Charm Thread-Branch Cypress
The Golden Charm Thread-Branch Cypress, scientifically known as Chamaecyparis pisifera filifera 'Golden Charm', is a slow-growing evergreen shrub that belongs to the Cupressaceae family. This cultivar typically grows up to 3 feet in height and 6 feet in width, with a conical to a broad-rounded form. Its attractive foliage features thread-like golden-yellow needles that remain vibrant throughout the year. As the plant ages, the needles turn greenish-yellow. The Golden Charm Thread-Branch Cypress thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. It makes an excellent accent plant in rock gardens, mixed borders, or mass plantings.
