Coral Carpet Stonecrop
Sedum album 'Coral Carpet', commonly known as Coral Carpet Stonecrop, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial with small, fleshy leaves that are green in the spring and summer but turn a vibrant coral-red to bronze in cooler temperatures, especially in fall and winter. In early to mid-summer, it produces clusters of tiny, star-shaped white flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this drought-tolerant variety is perfect for rock gardens, borders, ground cover, and containers. 'Coral Carpet' adds year-round color and texture to the garden, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping and low-maintenance landscapes.
