Columnar Ginkgo
The Columnar Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba 'Fastigiata') is a narrow and upright cultivar of the Ginkgo biloba tree. It is known for its columnar growth habit, making it a perfect choice for landscapes with limited space. The tree typically reaches a height of 40 to 60 feet and spreads only 10 to 15 feet wide. Its compact form and dense branching create a striking vertical accent in the landscape. The leaves of the Columnar Ginkgo are fan-shaped and bright green, turning a beautiful golden yellow in the fall. Like other Ginkgo varieties, it is a deciduous tree that can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions and is highly resistant to pests and diseases.
