Acer ginnala
Acer ginnala is a species of small deciduous tree, also known as Amur maple or Siberian maple. It's native to northeastern Asia, including areas of China, Mongolia, Japan, and Korea. Acer ginnala grows to a height of 10-33 feet and has a round shaped crown. Its leaves are green and three-lobed, with a serrated edge, and turn bright red or orange in the fall. Small yellow flowers in the spring, followed by winged seeds that mature in the summer. It's a hardy tree often used in colder regions where other maples may not thrive. It's adaptable to a variety of soil types and can tolerate drought, heat, and pollution.
