Matrona Stonecrop

Sedum 'Matrona', commonly known as Matrona Stonecrop, is a robust, upright perennial with thick, fleshy, pale green to blue-green leaves that are tinged with a soft purple hue, creating an attractive contrast against the sturdy, dark red stems. In late summer to early fall, it produces large, flat clusters of pale pink flowers that gradually darken to a rich rose color, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, 'Matrona' is ideal for borders, rock gardens, and containers. This drought-tolerant and low-maintenance variety adds striking color and architectural interest to the garden, especially during the late season.
