Dragon's Blood Stonecrop
Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood', commonly known as Dragon's Blood Stonecrop, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial with fleshy, rounded leaves that emerge green and turn deep burgundy-red in cooler temperatures, especially in the fall. In summer, it produces small clusters of star-shaped, bright red flowers that stand out against the dark foliage, attracting bees and butterflies. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this drought-tolerant and hardy variety is ideal for rock gardens, borders, ground cover, and containers. 'Dragon's Blood' adds vibrant color and texture to the garden throughout the growing season and is an excellent choice for xeriscaping and low-maintenance landscapes.
