Heavenly Bamboo
Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica) is an elegant and versatile ornamental shrub known for its bamboo-like stems and vibrant foliage. Despite its name, it's not a true bamboo but rather a member of the Berberidaceae family. Originating from eastern Asia, it's a popular choice in landscaping and gardens. The plant showcases compound leaves, often turning red or bronze in fall and winter, adding a burst of color to the landscape. It produces clusters of small, star-shaped white flowers in the spring, followed by bright red berries in the fall and winter, making it a visually appealing choice for various garden settings.
