'Elizabeth' is a cultivar of the Japanese maple tree with a dense, bushy appearance. Foliage emerges in spring with bright red tones that gradually mature to a deep maroon in the summer. In the fall they turn a brilliant shade of scarlet. It's small stature makes it an excellent choice for a small garden or as a container planting on a patio or balcony.
