Amur Maackia
Amur Maackia (Maackia amurensis) is a deciduous tree native to eastern Asia, particularly the Amur River region. It's known for its elegant appearance and is a valued ornamental tree in gardens and landscapes. The foliage consists of pinnately compound leaves with a silvery underside, giving the tree a distinct silvery-green appearance. In mid-summer, the tree blooms with fragrant, creamy white to pale yellow flowers, creating a beautiful display. As the seasons progress, the tree develops interesting, papery seed pods. Amur Maackia is appreciated for its adaptability, hardiness, and ability to tolerate a range of soil types and environmental conditions.
