Venus Dogwood

Venus dogwood, also known as Cornus x 'KN30-8', is a deciduous tree that is valued for its large, showy white flowers that bloom in spring. The tree has an upright, pyramidal habit and grows to a height and spread of 15-20 feet. The leaves are dark green, ovate, and slightly pointed, turning a reddish-purple in fall. The flowers can reach up to 7 inches in diameter and are surrounded by a cluster of smaller flowers. The tree prefers well-drained, acidic soils and full to partial sun exposure. It is resistant to dogwood anthracnose and powdery mildew, making it a low-maintenance and disease-resistant option for landscaping.
