Carl Stonecrop
Sedum 'Carl', commonly known as Carl Stonecrop, is a compact, upright perennial featuring fleshy, blue-green leaves that form dense, tidy clumps. In late summer to early fall, it produces large clusters of deep pink to rosy-red flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, providing vibrant color in the garden when many other perennials are past their peak. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this drought-tolerant and easy-care variety is perfect for borders, rock gardens, and containers. 'Carl' is known for its sturdy stems that resist flopping, making it an excellent choice for adding late-season color and interest to any garden setting.
