Blackbeard Beard Tongue
Penstemon 'Blackbeard', commonly known as Blackbeard Beard Tongue, is a clump-forming perennial featuring deep burgundy foliage and spikes of lavender-purple, tubular flowers that bloom from late spring to midsummer. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this variety is perfect for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. The rich, dark foliage and contrasting purple blooms of Blackbeard attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, adding a striking color contrast to any garden setting.
