A bucolic setting tucked amongst a highly urban area, Branch Brook Park is the perfect springtime destination. The next several weekends will be peak with some Cherries blooming several weeks already.
Work started on this park in 1896 and it was the first county park open to public use in the United States. The park has over 4000 Cherry trees across 300+ acres and at least fourteen different varieties. Visit the park now and be part of the largest Cherry Blossom festival in the US.
