Nana Gracilis Hinoki Cypress
The Nana Gracilis Hinoki Cypress, or Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis', is a slow-growing evergreen shrub that typically reaches a mature height of 3 to 4 feet and a spread of 4 to 5 feet. Its compact, dense growth habit makes it an excellent choice for small gardens, rock gardens, or as a container plant. The foliage of the Nana Gracilis Hinoki Cypress is a vibrant green color, and the leaves have a unique fan-like shape. This cultivar prefers well-drained soil and partial to full sun exposure, but can tolerate some shade.
